LovePedia.net claims to be the only website that gives users the opportunity to chat and meet new people completely free of charge. Over 2.5 million singles have supposedly signed up here already. As usual, we created a free account, browsed the members’ area and tested the site’s features and tools. Furthermore, we searched the internet for user experiences and reviews. Fortunately, we did not find anything that suggests that LovePedia.net is a scam of any kind. Nonetheless, the site is certainly not the best dating platform out there.
Not bad
Signing up and creating a personal profile are quick, easy and free. Most site features including chatting can also be used without having to pay anything. Users who visit the portal regularly will automatically collect “lovepoints”. These can later be exchanged for a visibility boost, which increases the chances of being seen and contacted by others. “Lovepoints” can also be purchased as add-ons. Fortunately, they are relatively inexpensive, and there are no recurring subscription plans or anything similar. This is therefore not a subscription rip-off.
Altogether, LovePedia.net offers a large variety of useful features. In this regard, the site is quite impressive. Another positive fact worth mentioning is the high number of members, many of whom seem regularly active.
Mixed user experiences
Browsing the internet, we found hundreds of user reviews of LovePedia.net. While many users seem entirely satisfied with the site, there are also numerous complaints to be found. Several former users claim the site’s members’ area is full of fake profiles and that it is quite difficult to find genuine singles truly looking for dates here. Moreover, many mention that the portal suffers from regular technical glitches and errors and that everything is cluttered with ads and annoying pop-up windows. In summary, LovePedia.net is not bad but certainly not great either.
