Initially, the portal seems absolutely trustworthy and legitimate. For our review, we decided to create a test account and take a closer look at the site’s features. We further inspected the terms and conditions and searched the internet for user experiences. To our surprise, we quickly found out that OnlyOver50sDating.com is not a good choice at all.
Subscription rip-off
The registration is quick, easy, and free. But unfortunately, the free basic membership is absolutely useless. Users who wish to communicate with other members via the chat function must sign up for a paid membership subscription to do so. However, all subscriptions offered are automatically and indefinitely renewed, and cancelling them is anything but easy. Therefore, the paid memberships can easily lead to what we call a “subscription trap”.
Fake profiles

This company is not only known for their subscription rip-offs, but also for using self-created fake profiles on their websites. In our experience, such fake profiles are controlled by employed fake chat operators, who are encouraged to send enticing chat messages to new users. Their job is to make users sign up for the paid subscriptions as quickly as possible.
Meeting any real singles on OnlyOver50sDAting.com is highly improbable, as the entire members’ area seems to only contain fictitious members who cannot be met offline. So, chatting here is basically a waste of time.
