Home » Beware of MatureFlirts.com – December 2023 – Don’t fall for their fake check scam

Overall, MatureFlirts.com makes a positive first impression. The landing page is basic. They provide potential subscribers with some very useful tips on how to navigate safely on a dating platform. The fact that they do this, makes it look quite trustworthy. Moreover, it does not show any erotic pictures. This contributes to giving a professional appearance to the page.

As we have already mentioned, the registration is advertised as free. We know, from experience, that this is just misleading information. But those who are not familiar with online dating platforms, are led to think that they will never have to pay anything to use the service. The basic free registration only allows you to set up your profile, upload a picture, and browse the member’s area. If you want to communicate with other users, you must purchase a premium membership.

Do not make this mistake

According to several past users’ first-hand experiences, this is a trap. All subscriptions renew automatically, which means that they keep extending indefinitely, until cancelled by the user. In the Terms and Conditions, you can read that a 72-hour notice is required to stop the recurring charges. But the site’s operator, which is InfraWeb Solution Ltd from Hong Kong, is already known for making cancellation unnecessarily difficult.

MatureFlirts.com also offers a cheap 1-day trial package, that at first, seems like a great deal. Quite the opposite. This is the real subscription rip-off because there is no way to prevent it from turning into a much more expensive monthly membership. To avoid that, you should act at least 72 hours before the expiration date, which is obviously impossible, since the trial plan runs for only 24 hours.

The following note is from the Terms and Conditions

You may cancel the auto-renew feature to avoid recurring charges, but you must act at least 3 days (that is, 72 hours) prior to the renewal date.

More suspicions

The site’s operator is also infamous for using fake profiles, to lure members into the subscription rip-off. We carefully read the Terms and Conditions, but we could not find any reference to professional moderators or fantasy profiles. Therefore, legal proof of the fake chat scam is missing. Still, the reputation of this company is so bad, that we cannot rule out the possibility that many accounts do not correspond to any real members.
