YoloChicks.com is an online dating platform targeting heterosexual men seeking women for casual hookups. Unfortunately, the landing page provides little information, which is a major red flag. Reputable operators adequately inform potential customers, but this is not the case here. This portal is virtually identical to other scams set up by Swiss company, Cargo Media AG, based in Pfäffikon.
Shameless fake chat
The workings behind this scam are hard to grasp. It is particularly evident that it attempts to hide a fake chat. Our test profiles were designed to go unnoticed and not attract any attention from real humans. Nevertheless, upon logging in for the first time, our inbox was full of messages. It should be evident that this eagerness to have sex with us is inauthentic, even if we put in the effort to write something interesting on our profile.
This scam is clearly effective, as the operators know how to get you to spend your money on a fake chat. Our prior experience proved that this company runs several very explicit websites operating in the same way, demonstrating their profit from this pointless service. Whether or not you are okay with chatting with virtual profiles, this service remains a rip-off, as the fake profiles and company are not transparent about this aspect.

Breaking the ice
The fake profiles reach out to users using icebreaker messages, aiming to tempt them to purchase a paid subscription. However, users need to be careful as these memberships entail recurring costs, and it may be tough to escape such contracts. Be especially wary of 1-day trials as it is unclear when the deadline is for canceling subscriptions. Moreover, these companies often pretend they never receive the cancellation notice and continue charging users for as long as they can. What appears as a bit of digital fun can swiftly turn into a nightmare.
