Are you really able to “share your veg interests” on Meet4Veg.com? Do you really want to know what my cucumber tastes like? Designing a well-functioning website is not enough to gain credibility; honesty is also essential. Unfortunately, this is not the case with Arpro Sagl, the company behind Meet4Veg.com based in Cabobbio, Switzerland. Our search for this obscure website on the internet yielded no results, so we had to comb through the tedious Terms and Conditions.
Our experience with scam sites is extensive, but we have never encountered such a detailed description of a fraudulent operation. It is quite disheartening.

The Service is intended to be used for entertainment purposes only. You acknowledge and agree that some profiles featured on the Site may be fake and created or operated by the Site or third-party contractors. The purpose of these fictitious profiles is to encourage conversation with users and encourage broader participation in all of our Site’s services. […] You acknowledge and agree that these profiles do not represent real individuals, but are included in the Service for the purposes stated above.
Any similarities between these fake profiles and real people, whether living or deceased, are purely coincidental. You also acknowledge and agree that the Service’s personnel or contractors may contact Members from time to time via computer-generated instant messages or emails for the purpose of promoting further participation in the Service. […] You acknowledge and agree that there will never be a physical meeting.
A Costly Subscription Scam
The registration process is simple, but the problem begins when you create an account. The member area is full of fake profiles that are managed by fake operators. Their sole aim is to entice naive vegans into a costly trap. To communicate with other members, users must purchase an expensive membership. A trial subscription is available, which is automatically converted into a more costly monthly subscription if not cancelled on time.
All subscriptions are subject to auto-renewal billing, unfortunately given the operator’s dishonest practices, there is a high probability the scam will not end there. The operators use this charade as a smokescreen to drive the subscription scam, and once users submit their banking information to these scammers, it is an open bar for them. As a result, users are frequently trapped in a long and costly subscription.
Fake Profiles
According to Arpro Sagl’s admission, the company creates fake profiles to communicate with users and to lure them into a trap. They also admit that these profiles send computer-generated messages to encourage more significant participation. It makes sense given that a premium membership is needed to do anything on this network.
